    1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Lived away from home for the whole summer…

    2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make any because I’m always making smaller, more attainable goals for myself throughout the year. So no, I won’t make any resolutions this year either.

    3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
    Nope.

    4. Did anyone close to you die?
    No, thank You Lord

    5. What countries did you visit?
None  I just want to travel! -sigh- Soon I will…

    6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Hmm… a cuddle buddy would be nice!

    7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
There are so many… January 24th - my birthday, July 4th - at the Hammer’s, August 9th - at the dog place, October 1st - Homecoming, October 31st - my grandma going into the hospital, December 17th - midnight showing of Return of the King... just to name a few!

    8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
    Living with Ruth all summer

    9. What was your biggest failure?
The little fiasco in AZ… oy-vey, God’s mercy is so abundant.

    10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really - except for developing allergies, particularly to cats

    11. What was the best thing you bought?
I don't know about best, but most expensive (and well-worth it) was my DVD/VCR player

    12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I’m always so impressed by the growth I see in all of my friends.

    14. Where did most of your money go?
    Dang, I wish I knew!

    15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Hahaha... Boys! (2003 definitely brought a lot of crushes!)

    16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
I don’t think there’s one particular song that will necessarily remind me of this specific year… Some big songs of the year, though, were: “Let the Incense”, “O Praise Him”, “In Christ Alone”, “Hey Ya!”, “Get Low”, “Follow Through”, “Take Me Away”

    17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
    i. happier or sadder?

    24. What was your favorite TV program?
    The OC, baby!!!

    25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don’t hate anyone. That’s a terrible word that should only be used in reference to Satan!

    26. What was the best book you read?
“Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers… that book ROCKED my world
“The 5 People You Meet In Heaven” - Mitch Albom… awesome as well

I don’t really know what this question is asking… so, refer back to #16.

    A GREAT student teaching placement!

    31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Dinner at OCB with the 104 Fam and then fun at my roomie’s house with her and Katie - it was my 21st!

    32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Probably lots of things, but that’s not to say that it was unsatisfying. I don’t need to go into all the what if’s…

    33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
I think this is a lame question, therefore I’m bypassing it.

    34. What kept you sane?
    Stephanie Pavlakis.

    35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Legolas. (Not Orlando Bloom, mind you, but Legolas)

    36. What political issue stirred you the most?
In general, people bashing George W. Bush… (it was particularly difficult living with a vocal and opinionated woman who felt he is a dictator)

    37. Who did you miss?
Over the summer, I terribly missed all things CPW… In general, I have missed Sara Lynn - and I can’t wait to see her soon!!!

    38. Who was the best new person you met?
There’s been plenty… at TIU, it’d be Jacob. Through xanga, I’d have to say Grant and Amber.

    39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003:
It can be summed up in a song lyric: “In Christ alone, my hope is found.”

    40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
“No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me.
From life’s first cry to final breath,
    Jesus commands my destiny.”
